Happenings Everywhere !

Second Stem Cell Treatment
Monday was Joseph’s second stem cell therapy injection. Again he couldn’t eat or drink for three hours before, the treatment and had to remain lying flat for 6 hours afterwards. He was able to sleep for most of the time this time. Everything is going well.

Dad Leaves for Mongolia
Tim left Monday noon for Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia via Seoul Korea. He had a good flight and was met at the Chenggis Kahnn International Airport and driven to the Chenggis Kahnn Hotel for his stay (Chenggis may be dead but he still RULES in Mongolia).

Elizabeth in Emergency Surgery
Mom got a call Monday morning from Elizabeth and Denny. She was in pain and went to the Doctor who rushed her to the Hospital for emergency surgery. Gloria was able to quickly go to Logan to care for the grandkids. Last word from Cache Valley is that Elizabeth is recovering and everything is okay.

China Earthquake
The Massive earthquake that killed so many people in China was far away from Qingdao. We feel deeply for the many families who are impacted and for the loss of life. These are wonderful people and we mourn with those that mourn.

I was worried about how close the earthquake was to Joseph's location...I am glad he's okay!! Best wishes to Liz, too! --Maria
