First Stem Cell Treatment
First Stem Cell Treatment
Wednesday was Joseph’s first stem cell therapy injection. It was scheduled for 2:10 PM. He was required to not eat or drink for three hours before the treatment. After the treatment, he had to remain lying flat for 6 hours. He was allowed to drink after 2 hours and eat after four. He did great. He thought it was very interesting and he is anxious for more.
No Surgery Required
After reviewing the MRIs the doctors concluded that no surgery would be needed. They didn’t feel there would be much to gain and there is always risk with surgery. They also commented that the injured area was ‘too soft’ (whatever that means). This does save considerable money. . . that is certainly a good thing.
Visit from the Qingdao Branch Leadership
This evening we had a visit from the new Branch President and others from the local Church unit. They are (from Left to Right) David (2nd Counselor in the Branch Presidency), Harrison (former Branch President), Peter (from yesterday), Yun (Elders Quorum President), and President Taylor (New Branch President). Pres. Taylor asked Tim to speak in Church Sunday.

How fun and exciting and fascinating!!! I've loved reading about all you are experiencing there in China! The food however...I don't think I would make it. That's why the Lord sent me to England on a mission! I wish you the best over there, and can't wait to see and read more! Good luck!
