Update--Sunday, Jan. 15, 1:00 p.m.

Gloria and Liz have heard from Tim. The Airmed plane left El Paso about 10:00 a.m., due to land in SLC at 12:30 p.m. Joseph had a very good night in El Paso. He liked the hospital there. The ventilator he was on was computerized, helping him to breathe, as opposed to the previous one that forced air into his lungs making it hard for him to breath on his own.

Gloria has a bag packed and doesn't intend on leaving Joe any time soon.

Just got out of church, so you're probably resting comfortably in a nice warm hospital bed by now. Welcome home!!!

Tim, Gloria, Joe, Liz and Family,

We just wanted you all to know how happy we are that things are definitely looking up for Joseph. We know that you have had numerous offers for help and we certainly want to add our offer to that also as you and your family have done so much for us. We are so happy that Joseph is finally home. We know that the Lord truly has blessed you as a family and will continue to bless you with what you need. You are in our prayers and thoughts.

Love,
Mike, Julie and Katie Izatt

joe,
thanks for bringing the snow with you! i'm sure you're looking out the window, imagining the damage you could do on a tug today. i'm staying home battling a nasty bout with the flu.
i hope you enjoy your stay at lds. i'm no expert, but i've never had a better experience with a long-term hospital stay than when my old man was in lds for a week. the doctors were some of the nicest and most attentive people i've met. take your time getting better, but let us know when you're ready for a visit.
you are missed,
aaron
